FOTD: Autumn Escape

I have been away for a minute, life has been busy and I have decided to give my face a makeup break. Somedays our face need a breathing space and mines did. Nevertheless, a makeup lover doesn't stay away too long now. Today's look is a Fall look featuring some cranberries, expresso, golden amber and  black.

FOTD: Dusk

Hello lovelies,

Today's Face of the day (FOTD) is my final look series for now featuring the Ebay 26 eyeshadow and blush palette. I will be revisiting this palette occasionally but I want to move onto other palettes I own and have been neglecting.
I was testing out foundations too because it's humid and I particularly find myself not wanting to do a full face makeup with my holy grail Revlon colorstay. When it gets to me stepping outside I feel like someone turned a water hose on me.  Hence I have tested and love the effect of Smashbox Tinted moisturizer and MAC pro-longwear concealer mixed together. This will be my foundation method of the next couple weeks/months until my the cold season arise.

FOTD: Beyond the Midnight blues

Hello lovelies,

I hope all is well with you all. Do you have makeup palettes or single eyeshadows that you acquired but it's just sitting there and not getting full use. Well my Ebay 26 eyeshadow and blush palette have some  pretty colors that don't get the loving they are suppose to. I decided to dedicate the next couple FOTD's to that palette.

I doubt I wear bronze (earth-tone) colors a lot, so I brought out the earth tones and added some colors to it.

The Blues played in different ways

Hello lovelies,

I have been away from my blog for a while, so my new camera battery died, and being that I'm such a dork, I didn't realize it needed special charger for this specific battery, well it's a non-rechargeable battery but I was suppose to purchase a dock so has to have it recharged and ready to upload my pictures. Well I ended up purchasing a rechargeable battery and charger set because that dock kit is way too pricey. Well here are some looks I did last week , that I seriously don't remember some of the products I used [[it sucks, well I suck :( ]].

• This look, I think was done using my 26 palette: gold color & brown color along with blue which I can't remember what I used.

Don't know why this picture has that line in it.

Pictures taken after a 11am-10pm day, so yes my face looks like it was soaked in oil!!

This look was done using a pigment I received from a lovely blogger: Vixxan.
MAC Deep Blue Green pigment is awesome. I believed I also used my 40 wet e/s palette purple color and other colors from various quad/palette.... etc etc.
Anyways MAC Deep Blue Green over a black base is total beauty. I am so loving MAC pigments now, they look beautiful over black bases. I used NYX Jumbo pencil: Black Bean which creases like crazy on me unless I use UDPP as a primer but for this look I used MAC Painterly paintpot as a primer and it started creasing after 25 mins (this was also a test, but MAC PP failed as primer).
I hope you enjoyed my looks. I apologize for blurred & horrible lighting pictures, I'm still trying to get the best settings for this camera in different lighting.

Hello,

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas holiday/ Kwanzaa/Hanukkah etc etc...Just a terrific Happy Holidays. What did you all do?
Is there anyone super excited about 2010?
I know I am, I am just praying for a great new year: I pray for it to include: life, lots of love, family, great friends (includes you all) and of course a JOB (yes I need a job asap).
So I went to a interview few days before the Christmas holiday and I did this makeup look (pictures are not full face because I took pictures late in the evening when my makeup was actually in the phase of not looking cute). So here is the Eye of that Day.
