Swatch: PrettyZombie Cosmetics

Hello Lovelies,

I came across this brand on the famous Instagram. I was intrigued by the intensity of the lip stain colors and had to give them a try. I decided I would buy five out the eight colors. The others colors not seen here are a red, blue and black color. However, these that I will swatch for you are the ones that stood out to me, especially the deep rich purple.

The packaging is basic with an anime red head green lady on it and on the other side the name of each color is in a dripping bold font.

All lip stain came sealed in with a small paper ingredient attached, once you remove the seal the ingredients went with it. I tried to remove just the upper seal section to leave the ingredients on a few of them.

The lip stains are pigmented and when applied to the lips are not sticky but dry to a matte texture. I would suggest to apply to a pre-moisturized lips. I really prefer this brand texture over other lip stains I have owned and wore. It doesn't crack on my lips and it doesn't make my lips feel extra tight as Kat Von D lip stain do. These lip stains do stain like crazy though, I removed it with makeup remover and my lips were a red shade stain.

Swatch: Coastal Scents Hot Pots

I hope all is well and I missed the love of blogging, due to my busy work schedule I apologize for not putting out the frequent blog posts. None-the-less I wanted to share swatches of my recent additions to my collection of some great and affordable dupes and color eyeshadows from Coastal Scents. Coastal Scents are a company which offers sale in makeup, makeup tool and beauty care. They always have a sale every week and when they do offer a hot pot (single eyeshadow) sale of $0.99 I always take advantage. Their Hot Pots are great dupes to the infamous Mac eyeshadows, they are great pigmentation and as with any eyeshadow require a great eye base/primer before application.

Maybelline Color Tattoo Pure Pigment Eyeshadows

It's been a while beauties but I'll be in full effect soon with FOTDs and lots more reviews. Be patient with ya girl!!! 

The new kids on the makeup block are these intense Eyeshadows from Maybelline called Color Tattoo Pure Pigments. I got four of them from seeing swatches on Instagram if these new products. The colors I purchased were: Black Mystery, Never Fade Jade, Brash Blue and Potent Purple. There are many more colors but these colors stood out to me. This is not an initial review of these products as I have not worn them on the eyes to see how they wear but from hand swatches there pigmentation is intense and yet when applied wet (foiled) they are even more desiring. I can't wait to give some banging eye looks with these and just maybe in the near future pick up some more to add to my upcoming review of these new products. Maybelline is definitely putting themselves as a favorite in the top 3 drugstore brands for me.

Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish Lipstick

Rimmel Kate Moss lasting Finish lipsticks as stated on the Rimmel website are  " Sumptuously Rich Matte colour with a sublime comfort. Ruby Powder enriched formula. Intense velvet colour all day! "

There are ten shades available and I have seven in my stash. Some of the formula varies, in my opinion some feel rather like a cream and others a semi matte. Rimmel states that they are matte but when I think of matte, I think of a drying texture and these are not so. Some colors glide on like butter, whilst others take more application to get an intense opacity. None the less I really like some the colors but I wish there was more color varieties. Kate Moss please if your reading, we need purples and maybe throw in a orange shade too. I love the smell of these as compared to the old lipstick smell from the lasting finish collection. The smell is more on the vanilla side that is very much bearable.

Rimmel ScandalEyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal are intense in color and creamy in texture. Rimmel offers ten colors but I will be featuring six of the colors. Rimmel state that these eyeliners, traditionally refererred to now as kohl kajal are long lasting shocking color intensity with kohl Britania High intensity color for an instant color impact. Ultra smooth & creamy formula that glides on easily Waterproof, smudge-proof, sweat-proof, heat-proof, humidity-proof and scandal- proof.

Conclusion

These Kohl Kajal are very intense in color and they are extremely creamy and soft in texture. I have used the Nude color on previous looks and I love that I have found a Nude color that can be used on my waterline that doesn't tug and has high color payoff and is waterproof meaning it says put on my waterline. I will be using these mostly for my waterline for an added pop of color. However, I can't wait to use these in my upcoming makeup looks and there will be a more thorough review on these products after maximum uses. My favorite colors so far are Nude, Sparkling Black and Purple.

Rimmel ScandalEyes Shadow Stick offers eyeshadow crayons that are waterproof and intense in color. There are nine colors in their shadow sticks. Rimmel states that they are high shine and luminous finish. They are also high impact color precision tip applicator with ultra soft formula that glides on smoothly.

Conclusion

So far these are pretty soft, not tugging on the lids. They are definitely waterproof and takes some rubbing with a makeup wipe to come off. The colors are intense, especially the bright colors. I really like the: Blamed Blue, Tempting Turquoise and Paranoid Purple.

LE Maybelline Color Tattoo for Summer 2013 Collection

Hey Beauties,


Maybelline has released a limited edition collection for Summer 2012 with some 24hr Color Tattoo, nail polishes and other beauty products. The Color Tattoo were the only items appealing to me and I had to have them. Now, I went on a mission to find these products, I went to Bed, Bath and Beyond after seeing Kokofemme post swatches and mention she had gotten hers there. When I got there, they had only one color on the display in stock, which was Icy Mint. I gave the Sale Associate the most hardest time as I was desperate to find these, she suggested that I could order them online and she went ahead and did so for the other colors not in stock and I had them ship to my home. :)))

Now each Color Tattoo was sent to me in from different locations in different packagings at different times. I was more so happy I had gotten them but to my curiosity there was two I was missing. Those two were only seen in Walgreens as stated by bloggers and I went on another hunt to a local Walgreens which nothing turn up for me but then I tried the nearest Walgreens near my home and walla it was there along with the previous six colors that are found at BB&B. I did not get Precious Pearl as it reminded me of a previous Color Tattoo.



Here are swatches of the new limited edition Summer Collection of Maybelline Color Tattoos. These Color Tattoo are more so duo-chrome shades and very creamy in texture.
