Product Focus: New L.A. Colors Lipgloss & Lipstick Duo

Hello Beauties,

I went on a stroll to my local Dollar store for gloves and ended up in the makeup aisle .... the usual me!! However, I realized L.A. Colors had some new goodies: Lipgloss & Lipstick Duo as well as some auto eyeliner and even brown color liquid liner. What caught my eye were these L.A. Colors Lipstick & Lipgloss duo because I absolutely am a lipstick fanatic. Here are the new lip products:

• The lipsticks as well as the glosses have a bubble gum/ sweet smell. if you aren't favorable of sweet smells then these are not for you.
• They retail for $1
• Some lipsticks are sheer and some are creamy.
• Some lip glosses have shimmer while some are sheer solid colors.
• Lipstick will last a good 3hrs on the lips (without eating/drinking). 
• Lipgloss will last about 15mins  on the lips (without eating or drinking)
• Packaging cap of the lipsticks come off easily.
• Great for simple makeup looks that won't you don't need alot of colors on the lips.

Milani Haute Flash Shimmer Lipgloss

Hello Beauties,


Milani has introduced some shimmer lipgloss which are named; Haute Flash Full Coverage Shimmer Lipgloss. There are six colors (only reviewing five) available and all shades are shimmer finish.


Milani states that they are:
" A full coverage, highly pigmented lipgloss with an extra glossy shimmer finish. The non-tacky, anti-feathering formula and flexible soft sponge applicator allows for easy application."


Now these are not my favorite lipgloss and being a non lipgloss fan I decided to try these to see if they would be better than other lipglosses I have tried. I really don't enjoy these lipglosses. After applying them on my full lips, they felt tacky on the inner part of my lips. I didn't experience any feathering but I really don't like the wand used to apply the colors.

However I really like the shimmer in the different lip gloss colors and they remind me of MAC Dazzleglass shimmers. These products are vanilla scented and they are also 5g/0.18 oz

Pros: 

• Affordable
• Vanilla scented and not any harsh lipgloss scent
• Glossy and shimmery 
• Full coverage 

Cons:

• Hits and misses with some colors pigmentation when applied to the lips
• Felt tacky on the inner parts of the lips

Note: Make sure your lips are moisturized before applying these lipgloss.

Products of the Week!

Hello lovelies,


This week have I got a deal for you, one of my product of the week items is just $1 in Target. Let me first introduce both products of the week which are ELF lipstick in Gypsy and Covergirl Amazemint lipgloss in Plum Craze. I love both products, both as been my go to item for the this week and the combination is pretty.
Nonetheless the ELF lipstick in Gypsy is a mauve plum color and only a buck in Target or on ELF.com .... Now can you beat a deal like that. The Covergirl lipgloss has a minty and refreshing taste and smell and also makes the lips tingle when applied. Check out these products and try the combination and tell me if you like.

My Favorite Item now

Hello lovelies,

Have you ever purchased and item that you just can't seem to put down and every minute it's in your hands because you love it so much or just like the texture, quality or even how it smells.

Well this favorite item is a beauty item and it's a lipgloss. N.Y.C Sugarcoated lipgloss is currently my favorite item now and I absolutely love this product. I purchased this at Target on clearance sale. I always saw it at drugstores but being a that I am not a lipgloss craze person, I never thought to try it. Well sales always get the best of me so I couldn't pass up this sale item.

I really love this product and will definitely be repurchasing.

N.Y.C Sugarcoated l/g is a lipgloss in a tin pan. It is a sheer pink color and has a minty cotton candy smell.




It's not long lasting but it's very moisturizing. The only dislike I have is that I hate applying any lip product that I have to dip my fingers in because I find it unhygienic. Otherwise I like everything about this product, It retails for $2.99 in drugstores but I purchased it for $1.37.
