LOTD: L'oreal HIP is my MAC

I know from the heading your like "what" but hey I love MAC and L'oreal HIP has been a favprite drugstore brand of mine and I love it. The HIP duos have so mush possible dupes to MAC and I love almost all the HIP duos that have been released (minus those matte colors which were released lately). Not only do I love the duos but their lip stuck shine, cream liners, crayons and blush as well as foundation are great.


Here's a look of the day which I did using a few of their products.

Always use a primer (UD/TFSI) because if you have oily lids like me it will crease

FACE
Revlon Colorstay Mahogany (not my normal RCS color: a little darker)
Ben Nye Neutral Set powder
Wet N Wild bronzer: Bali
L'Oreal HIP cream blush: Tickled
L'Oreal HIP e/s duo: Adventurous (orange as blush and light color as highlight)
L'Oreal HIP e/s duo: Brazen (dark brwon for contour)




EYES:
NYX tan concealer (base)
L'Oreal HIP Crayon: Authentic (second base)
L'Oreal HIP e/s duo: Riotous (bright green on lid & dark green on outer 'v' and crease & bottom lid)
42 Double stack matte palette: tan color (blend crease and highlight color together)
L'Oreal HIP Adventurous (light color for highlight)
L'Oreal HIP cream liner: Teal
Mascara

LIPS:
NYX Louisiana l/s
NYX Pinky Natural l/g


If you haven't tried the L'Oreal HIP products don't be afraid to give them a try, because that are all super duper pigmented and you can always get them at great deals when your drugstores as BOGO's.

This look I did to represent the festivity of the season. Most of this holiday season colors are represented by Greens, Golds/Silver and Reds. But with that I added my touch and a favorite color of mines lately: purple.

96 eyeshadow palette: Gold (inner tearduct & highlight), Lt. Green, Deep Green, Red (crease), Orange (above crease) & purple (bottom lash line)
NYX Black e/s(crease)
Wet N Wild cream eyeliner

Review: Generic 15 Concealer Palette

I had a request by Vixxan from The Glam Shack blogspot to do a review on the 15 Generic Concealer palette.

I purchased this palette a while back and now I can give my full review after using it for some time now.

15 Concealer Palette
Where to buy: Ebay and other website that sell these generic palettes. Don't think Coastal Scents have it.

What it consist of: 11 cream concealer ranging from light tone to dark tone, also three (3) correctors and one (1) highlighter.



Correctors colors:

-Yellow ~for under eye circle (neutralizes deep red & purple)
-Lavender ~correct shallowness
-Green ~neutralizes redness (pimples)
-Orange/ Salmon ~ for dark circle (blue color)


Pros:

• Gives a natural look when applied before any foundation application
• great consistency
• no smell
• when applied it is a cream which turns to powder texture
• there are various shades available to various skin tone
• price for the 15 color palette is reasonable and cheap compared to other brand
  
• very convenient for travel
• Great eyeshadow base too. Eyeshadow lasted over 7+ hours without creasing

Cons:

• Have to set it with a powder
  
• As a eyeshadow base it doesn't make the eyeshadow(s) appear vibrant
• Not deemed a full coverage concealer especially if you have extreme dark acne scars to cover

Here are pictures to compare it to MAC Studio Finish concealer.
(Note: Concealer used from palette is 2nd row from L-R, last column and then compared to MAC NW45)
