FOTD: Utopia

Hello Lovelies,

Lately Instagram has me hauling, I swear social media is made you draw you in.... I recently did  a MakeupGeek order of their Utopia pigment which as been out of stock for a while. Upon receiving the pigment I was in awe at how gorgeous it was and when applied to the eye, OMG it is absolutely gorgeous. However I have learnt that you cannot apply it with water based products but rather a glitter adhesive is best and I used the Sally Girl glitter adhesive.

FOTD: Haute Chocolate Triple Fudge

Hello Lovelies,

I hope all is well.... No matter how I try to incorporate spring colors in my makeup looks lately, I still resort to my earth tone Fall colors... you know the dark greens, brown and spice colors. I have been loving the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette since I purchase it and I absolutely love it and the colors it holds. I would so get a back up just because I know I would gravitate towards it whenever I do a work love or even a neutral eye makeup look. Their is so many colors that will go well with a bright eye popping lip color and that is my go-to makeup look for the everyday.

FOTD: Makeup Lovin'

Hello Lovelies,

I hope all is well... I  haven't abandon my baby (blog) but every time I do a simple makeup look I forget to take pictures with my camera rather than my iphone. None the less, I've decided to share regardless of the quality of my Iphone pictures. Not quite sure of the items I used on the eyes but I remember the lip products used. Crazy huh!!

FOTD: Sage Sensation

Hello Lovelies,

Hope all is well.....Today I grace you all with a look using the Coastal Scents 252 palette, this palette is the smaller shadows of the Coastal Scents Hot Pots singles. The Coastal Scents Hot Pots are inexpensive alternatives to MAC eyeshadows and very affordable. To see what colors I would love, I decided to get the 252 Ultimate palette which which is smaller eyeshadow version in palette format  of all the Hot Pots combined. New Years Eve Makeup Look

Hey lovelies,

Happy New year!!! 2013 came with some good, some adversities and setbacks, nonetheless, I have life, health and family, so I am grateful. Thank you to everyone for supporting my blog, it's not where I want it to be but I know I will get there. Making an effort to get it to the point I want it to be this year. If you all didn't know this is one of my safe haven, to just do makeup looks randomly even when 98% of the time I wipe it off after posting to my blog. However, I love to buy affordable makeup and make it work for me. Anyways, I didn't ring in the New Year at a party or club or sipping champagne. I was at work at that time, and I thought to myself why don't I make my last makeup of 2013 a bang and yes I did.

FOTD: Forest Shimmer

Hello lovelies,

I have been itching to use my TKB Trading pigments for a minute now. Here's my Face of the Day featuring their micas/pigments. However, I used a nail glitter that I purchased from Sally's Beauty Supply store and I am in awe at the texture, how smooth it was to apply as compared to some brand eye glitter. I will be purchasing more of these glitters in the future. Also in this look you may notice my lashes are green, no it's not from my eyeshadow, I went ahead with using Wet n Wild Color Up MegaVolume mascara in Olive Green which I am surprised worked in my favor. Enjoy this look.
