Review: Milani Even Touch Powder Foundation

Hey Beauties,

I had featured Milani's new powder foundation which is the cream to powder foundation and also did a review but this time I will be doing a review on the Even Touch foundation in the color: Creamy Cocoa. Milani was kind enough to send me this item and after analyzing their website for my color match, it was complicated to find a match as the same with the Cream to powder foundation. It took me half and hour back and forth with the pictures on their website to come to a final color choice and I choose Creamy Cocoa.

Creamy Cocoa is somewhat a bit lighter than my normal color range. This was the darkest shade on their website also. This powder foundation is very nice, feels like you are not wearing any foundation and it is not cakey.

About

  1. The foundation is matte texture and very smooth when applied to skin
  2. This foundation is light weight.
  3. If you have oily skin, apply a face primer as this foundation does get oily in the t-zones after several hours. If you have dry skin, it may look splotchy in some areas so use a moisturizer before applying.
  4. Better than my MAC Studio Fix powder foundation, the difference is MAC is more medium to full coverage as this is just medium coverage and doesn't feel heavy on the skin.

Pros
  1. Provides medium coverage and is light-weight in texture.
  2. Blends into the skin with a silky texture.
  3. Reasonable cost for drugstore foundation.
  4. Doesn't crease excessively in the lines on the face. (All foundation will slightly crease over a period of time in the lines of the face but this doesn't crease as does some after several hours).

Cons
  1. Choosing shades is very difficult on the website for darker and deeper skin tones. There needs to be more darker and deeper tones choices.

Love the matte texture

Very silky feel and medium coverage, as you can see on my forehead, it didn't cover my acne scars flawlessly

It is a somewhat lighter than my skin tone even though I chose the deepest shade, but using a bronzer will warm it up.

    1. I think they need to make more WOC shades especially warmer tones.
