Hope all is well.... Today's look was a fail, I wasn't pleased with the outcome of the look because of the quality of some eyeshadows. Nevertheless, I decided to share in case anyone is wondering how these shadows would look on the eye of a Woman of Color.
L'Oreal True Match f/d: N8 [not a match for me]
Revlon PhotoReady concealer: Deep (under eye)
NYC Translucent powder (set under eye)
Covergirl Queen powder: Q425
Wet n Wild blush: Berry Shimmer
NYC Duet e/s: Go To Boardway; darker color (contour)
ELF trio e/s color (highlight)
Jordana eye primer
L.A colors Jumbo pencil: Sunglasses (cut crease), Bikini Time (bottom lash line base)
Wet n Wild cosmetics trio:
- Enlisting For Beauty; eyelid color (Lid), browbone color (highlight)
- Your Minutes Aren't Up; crease color (bottom lash line), eyelid color (bottom lash line)
- A Regular At The Factory; eyelid color (crease)
NYX e/s: Black (cut crease)
NYC liquid liner: Black
Milani l/l: Natural
MAC RiRi Holiday l/s: Bad Gal RiRi
Milani Haute Flash: Quick Flash
The Wet n Wild pop collection eyeshadow trios: Your Minutes Aren't Up and A Regular At The Factory colors look pigmented but when applied to the eyes are blotchy and powdery. These work better for crease or tear duct colors but definitely not lid colors for us Woman of Color.
Do good, feel good and life will be great!!!
