I hope all is well... today's look is a monochromatic look that was inspired from a MAC face chart from the MAC To The Beach Collection. Due to the fact that I didn't take full advantage of the products from that collection, I opted to work with other brands I have such as the versatile 120 palette- 2nd edition.

Product Focus: Maybelline Hydra Time Lipstick

I think the Dollar store is becoming my favorite spot to shop for lipsticks....lol. I found these old Maybelline lipstick called Hydra Time lipsticks in my local dollar store and decide to give them a try and low and behold I love them. Check them out.......

Looks silver in packaging but it's a purple with silver reflects

• Lipsticks are creamy and long lasting.
• Lipsticks smells like typical lipstick smell.
• Some colors stain such as Siren and Desire
• Very moisturizing to the lips

Maybelline has more colors in these lipsticks and if you are interested, check out your local dollar tree. dollar deals etc for these lipsticks. Desire and Siren are great Fall colors.

Product Focus: New L.A. Colors Lipgloss & Lipstick Duo

Hello Beauties,

I went on a stroll to my local Dollar store for gloves and ended up in the makeup aisle .... the usual me!! However, I realized L.A. Colors had some new goodies: Lipgloss & Lipstick Duo as well as some auto eyeliner and even brown color liquid liner. What caught my eye were these L.A. Colors Lipstick & Lipgloss duo because I absolutely am a lipstick fanatic. Here are the new lip products:

• The lipsticks as well as the glosses have a bubble gum/ sweet smell. if you aren't favorable of sweet smells then these are not for you.
• They retail for $1
• Some lipsticks are sheer and some are creamy.
• Some lip glosses have shimmer while some are sheer solid colors.
• Lipstick will last a good 3hrs on the lips (without eating/drinking). 
• Lipgloss will last about 15mins  on the lips (without eating or drinking)
• Packaging cap of the lipsticks come off easily.
• Great for simple makeup looks that won't you don't need alot of colors on the lips.
