DID SHE GET A TAN?

Hello

Hope everyone weekend is going great. Ok so I did a look yesterday and was tired to post. I had bought the Maybelline Dream Mouse foundation: both matte and liquid on BoGo (buy one get one free) at my local CVS last week sale. I have seen many Youtubers doing review on it so I decided to try it. So far from one use from both its ok, but I would have to use it couple more times to do a great review.

The Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse that I bought doesn't seem to be my color, but I kept it still because I hate returning cosmetics. However, I love the feel of it because it makes me feel like I am not wearing any foundation, its so lightweight and goes on smooth. It make my face feel makeup less. The liquid foundation is darker than my skin tone but I like how it gave me a dewy look.
Ok so I also I had got couple weeks before the new Revlon Colorstay mineral products that they had out. They are like these all over face finishing mineral products that remind me so much of MAC MSF...I have two but I believe they release three of them. After doing the foundation routine using the Maybelline Dream Mousse liquid foundation, I applied the Revlon Colorstay Mineral Finishing Powder in Sunkiss and waalllllla, I had a glowing orange look, like I got a tan at a spa or I used a a sun tan lotion that had that glow ingredients in it....... and/or I went to the Caribbean and got a tan.

Here are some pictures to let you see what I am talking about:

(please excuse my hair being a mess)

On my Eyes:
LD
Revlon Creme Illuminance: Va Va Bloom (coral color)
TKB Trading: Apricot, Tangerine Pop (lid)...... China Jade (bottom lid)
Sally's Girl: Expresso (crease)
Sally's Girl: Snow (highlight)
Rimmel Green eyeliner

LIPS:
NYX femme l/s
NYX Strawberry l/g

I am definitely giving this look another try in the summer...its a fake tan look...lol
I am not a beach bum here in the states unless I am back home, I 'll hit up the beach like every other week.
So I have no plans for a visit to the Caribbean for the summer, so my fake tan will have to work...lol

LOTD

Hello,

I did a look today using my NYX pearl mania pigments, I absolutely love them, Since I got my NYX haul, I have been playing around non-stop and swatching like crazy with the products. It's like getting a new car and test driving it non-stop. I wish the sale was extended that would have been great because I would definitely invest in more of their pigments, but hopefully in the future when I have the funds I can definitely add more to my collection. Putting the pigments on by it self doesn't pop on my skin but when foiled (apply any eyeshadow with mixing medium or water), it so vibrant on my skin tone. The eyeshadows are pretty decent but I realized the ones I purchased I can find dupes in my 120 palette. They are pigmented but to get the vibrancy from them when I apply to my skin tone I have to use a white/equivalent color base and apply it foiled too. I love the colors I choose though, I am very pleased with the purchase.

Now this look I was trying to go for was a wearable wedding look and also arabic theme. I didn't capture the arabic theme of it because my eyes were getting tired and watery when I started to line the lid and waterline.

Here goes my million pics (lol):

EYES:
UDPP
Revlon Creme Illuminance
NYX Pearl Mania pigments: Oro, Rust, Penny, Walnut
HIP duo: Sculpted: dark raisin color
120 Palette: purple, fuschia, plum color, black, white (matte)
Wet n Wild creme liner (lid)
HIP cream liner (waterline)
mascara

Anyways lovely bloggers I'm off to wonderland, I am so tired lately...sigh***

HAUL: CHERRY CULTURE NYX & OTHER

Hello,

So I made great use of the NYX sale that has been going on. I ordered some products on cherryculture.com from the NYX sale, and used the code given. This was my first time ordering from www.cherryculture.com and all I can say is they have the slowest shipping ever, I know I did the regular shipping and my shipping was free because I order over $40 worth of products but it took too long to get to me. Maybe then again I was being impatient because I am that type of person but I ordered stuff on Ebay after that & I got them asap.

Now I ordered a few NYX single eyeshadows, trios, lipglosses, glitter liner & concealer.

Here goes:

MY HAUL GOODIES :)

NYX Ultra Pearl Mania
L-R: Penny, Rust, Oro, Walnut

L-R: Penny, Rust, Oro, Walnut

Swatches: L-R: Penny, Walnut, Oro, Rust
(**all swatched on a Nw45 skin tone & no base)

Ok so I depotted the NYX pearl mania pigments into these 10gram jars I bought on Ebay, the seller is fantastic because I order them Friday evening and got them Monday. They ship very fast and the five 10gram jars with sifters were?? $3.95 + free shipping

Here is the link for the ebay seller: Beauty Makeup Supplies
Depotting them makes it easier to get the products out from the tiny jars and of course not let you waste product.

The other stuffs I got were:
NYX single eyeshadows: Black, Africa, Lime Juice, Kiwi, Purple, Herb, Luxor, Chick
NYX trios: Tropical/Yellow/Lime Green, Serengeti

Trios: Serengeti & Tropical/Yellow/Lime Green
Singles e/s: middle row: Herb, Purple, Black, Kiwi, Africa
Singles: front row:Lime Juice, Luxor, Chick

**Swatches

Single e/s: Lime Juice, Luxor, Chick

Singles e/s: Herb, Purple, Black, Kiwi, Africa

I also got a NYX concealer in Tan.

**NYX Trios: top: Serengeti
bottom: Tropical/Yellow/Lime Green

NYX Round lipglosses: Strawberry, Soap Opera & NYX Mega shine lipgloss: African Queen

l-r: Soap Opera, Strawberry, African Queen

Note: Soap Opera is like a cheaper version of MAC dazzleglass, its has chunks of glitter in it, its ridiculous. Even when I wiped off the lipgloss from my lips, glitters were all over my face.

NYX Glitter liner in Silver

I really liked the products I purchased but lets see, I actually say tons of dupes from my 120 palette, will I purchase more eyeshadows? maybe because I love collecting makeup.

I love the megashine lipgloss, smells great and the staying power from my first day was good. The lipgloss do have a slight wierd scent at first but after its gone. As for the glitter lipgloss well its just my dupe for MAC dazzleglass (not sure which one).

I will definitely give you updates as the week goes to let you know the intensity and pigmnetation of the eyeshadows as well as me using the lipglosses and glitter liner and concealer.

Well my fellow bloggers, that's my haul and I have few more stuffies on the way. Hopefully soon. I love mails with goodies...lol

EOTN & TV SERIES

Hello bloggers,

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, I know I did, because I slept the whole weekend, mainly during the days as I watching up on a TV series that I didn't know was going on. Ok! so have any of you watched 90210, like seriously how did I not know that this TV series had started already. I am always late about things. I have been hearing talks about this Gossip Girl through my facebook and was like what is it all about, then I did my little research and wasn't too crazy about it then but upon my research I saw 90210 and thought it was the old 90210 so I said let me see some past episode because I missed the old 90210 and unfortunately I watching from my CW website the new 90210. I enjoyed watching so I had to catch up on the past episode to see how it started and yes I watched the 21 episodes I missed out on from Friday till Sunday evening. Did I sleep? Not in the nights but during the day and maybe a 3-4 hr sleep because it was killing me to watch this series and every episode left me craving more. I urge anyone who isn't watching it to tune it and watch it every Tuesdays at 9pm on CW (Check with your cable provider to see what station is CW in your area).

I am such a big fan of Liam, Adrianna, Nirvad, Dixon & Silver. Liam is so hot and of course who doesn't love a bad boy (lol). I love teenager TV shows, its very captivating and you learn so much even though I have passed those teenage years but I guess its a aid to dealing with and of course preparing for my daughter who will be a teenager in a long couple of years to come (lol).

So unto my EOTN:
I love me some bright looks and here is one:

(without flash)

Products used:

LD
NYX Jumbo Pencil Milk
MAC e/s: Electric Eel (outer & inner lid & bottom)
MAC e/s: Chrome Yellow (center of lid & bottom)
HIP cream liner:black (cut crease)
120 palette: black, fuchsia color, light pink
Wet N Wild e/s: Cream (highlight)
Rimmel eyeliner
Black liquid liner
mascara

I am still learning the whole 'cut crease', I haven't mastered it yet. I think its the hardest and most challenging thing ever now for me to do in makeup, but I will conquer and master it soon...hahaha!!

As for my mother's day, it was ok, I am grateful I spent it with my daughter and mom and family but the most part of it I slept. I got phone calls & messages from various family members & friends who actually remembered me being a mom. I am thankful for them because they actually remembered me and the thought counts, so even though there weren't any gifts and all. I always feel loved because I have a beautiful baby girl to let know that each day, terrific family and friends...<3 style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">Smooches & Be fabulous!!

EOTN

Hello,

I was playing around in my Lanmei pigments that I had purchase from Ebay for a great price last year. However, I seem to have been neglecting them, so I decided to do a quick look using them. I applied most of them wet and of course I had to bring in colors from my 120 palette. I am definitely trying to use it up too, has I want to purchase other palettes from Ebay and much as I am a stay at home mom and don't have much places to go, well why have my makeup taking up dust. So I'm definitely playing in them everyday or as much as I can. Funny thing is my daughter has gotten so use to seeing me everyday with some new colors on my eyes that she is like everyday saying the word 'eyes' and of course showing her eye (I love her, she is just too smart for a 1yr old).

Pictures of the look:

Its not my best but I really liked the outcome from these pigments and they are very cheap, they have different brands on Ebay like Lanmei, Leishi etc. but I believe they are just the same pigments but named differently. They don't have color names just numbers and they are not true to numbers too.

EYES:
LD
HIP crayon: Meticulous
Lanmei pigments: #08, #58, #14, #13 (lid)
120 Palette: cranberry color (crease), black(outer crease) & tan color (highlight)
Mascara

I know I didn't line my waterline & lid but hey there are no rules to makeup.

Disclaimer: I am not wearing any foundation or powder, just went naturalle for the night.

So if you definitely looking to try out some pigments in different colors, check out Ebay, you can find these pigments in sets for dirt cheap (20 or more for $0.99, depending on if you win that bid). It's a great way to experiment with loose eyeshadow minerals and not break your pocket.
