My Movies Review : Obsessed & Fighting
Hello,
I know this is not makeup related but I had to give my input. Now I wanted to see Fighting and I definitely got to see it and really like it but it wasn't the best and none the less wasn't what I was all hyped up and expecting. I really love Channing Tantum, he is cutie and has a blazing hot body. He definitely did a good job in the movie and Terrence Howard really amazed me also. I wish they plot was much more extreme.
Now I had vowed to myself not to see Obsessed because I just don't think Beyonce has that acting voice. She has a terrific singing voice but her acting voice is annoying. I watched the Dreamgirls movie and thought she could have done way better, her voice was just too off. There is something about her voice that doesn't fit the roles she plays. Anyways that was my reason for not wanting to watch Obsessed but I got around to watching it and thought it was a great movie. Ali Larter is a terrific actress, she gets my 5 stars for her acting role in the movie, Beyonce did pretty decent herself, I will give her a 4 stars. I really love the plotof the movie. If you haven't seen these movies, definitely check them out. Let me hear your review!
I am very much anticipating: Wolverine Origins, Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen, Star Trek, Harry Potter & the half Blood Prince, G.I. Joe (Channing Tantum), I Love You Beth Copper (Lauren London), The Taking of Pelham 123 and of course New Moon.
As you can tell I love special effects movie. It was my college major and I can't wait to work in the field. Oh btw I definitely wanna see that Final Destination 3d movie but really scared because it's all the gruesome scenes are gonna be stuck in my head for a while.

MY MAKEUP REMOVERS REVIEW

This is my review on makeup removers I've used and what I have thought about them.
1) MAC Makeup wipes--- I really love MAC has a brand but I really dislike their make-up wipes.
Why? They are too oily for me, which on a whole that may be what make-up wipes should be. However, I have oily skin and having a oily face and removing make-up with a oily product, doesn't work for me. They really do work, don't get me wrong, but they are just not for my oily skin. I don't remember if they have any allergic effect on me, because I have used them a long time ago and the only time I used it now is to remove make-up at any MAC store whenever I swatch a product. I have a 48 pack at home now which is for my sister and has completely dried out (she has had it for over 2 years now, I believe). However, I think even though it's dried out, its still has good use, because she stills uses it (lol's). Nevertheless, it can be used in Back 2 MAC!! (thumbs up)

2) Cold Cream--- this is basically a cream which removes make-up and gives the skin a deep clean of any makeup residue. It thoroughly deep cleans the skin without leaving it feeling dry and makes your skin look and feels soft and clean. Its removes any form of dirt and make-up build up on the skin and even stubborn mascara. Contains cleansing emollients that soften as it deep cleans the skin so that the skin feels smooth and not dry and tight.
This product, I absolutely love, I heard about it from a YouTube guru and decided to try it couple weeks ago and it definitely does what it says. I had purchased the Walgreen's brand but took it back because it was absolutely too oily for me even though Walgreen's brand compared theirs to Pond's Cold Cream. I went to my dollar store and found it for way less than the price of the Walgreen's brand and Ponds and decided to give it a try and loved the Family Dollar brand. It isn't oily as the others but it has some oil based ingredients in it such as mineral oil and beeswax. This brand gives more of a creamy consistency and definitely works for me. Using a cold cream, you either have to remove with a warm face cloth or tissue. I remove with the handy dandy baby wipes.

3)Perfect Purity Facial Solutions--- I found this product at my local Family Dollar (dollar store). I am in love with it. They are facial cleansing and make-up remover wipes. They absolutely get the job done in removing the make-up and leaves the face feeling soft and fresh. They contain vitamin E and a quick and easy way in removing makeup. They are not oily. They definitely deep clean the pores and make my skin feel soft and smooth to the touch. My only disadvantage was I only saw them in packs of 30, which was the refill package and I can't find the bigger packs. I really love the smell of them also, they have a cucumber smell. Being that they remove stubborn mascara very well too, one wipe will remove just about everything from the face. They are cheap in price for there terrific usage ($2/per pack).

4) Baby wipes--- Baby wipes are a terrific make-up remover, I have been using them for almost most of the time since I have started into make-up big time and they remove most of the make-up from my face and skin. They are easy and convenient and very cheap. However, they are not the best for deep cleaning the face of your make-up and the stubborn mascara. They definitely leave the face feeling fresh and smooth. They weren't made to remove makeup but I on the other hand found them as that use being that they are very cheap and I can definitely stock up on them for great prices.

5)Maybelline Eye Makeup Remover- This definitely gets the job done at removing eye makeup and get the stubborn mascaras as well but the product is very oily and that's a let down for me.

Silver Smokey Eyes with Bold Red Lips

I know I have been slacking, just been tired and feeling very lazy lately, but I am still playing in my makeup but just lazy to update my blog. Anyways I did this look a few days ago and forgot to post it, it was a smokey eyes look with silver, black and brown using my 120 palette (love it), I added a pop of bold red lips. I know red lips aren't in this season but 'hey' it's makeup and it has no rules!
EYES:
LD
HIP paint: Steely
120 palette: silver, silver black color, black, brown, tan brown
black eyeliner pencil
Wet N Wild gel eyeliner
LIPS:
Jordana lip liner: plush red
NYX round lipstick: Eros
FACE:
L'oreal True match f/d: C7
L'oreal True match powder:c7
Revlon floral affainr blush (highlight)
I can't remember the blush I used (sorry)
Now I was also experimenting again with foundations, to see what matches my skin tone and this foundation was definitely a no no...it doesn't match my skin tone and I loved very dead. I used both L'oreal True Match liquid foundation and the powder in c7 and it aint a "true match". I have used my L'oreal liquid foundation with other mineral foundations and I liked the results but with their powder it definitely didn't look good on me. I thought to myself that maybe it was the wrong color foundation or powder overall. But from doing the foundation match evaluation on their website, it results was to use the c7. I am gonna give the liquid foundation a try again with my MAC MSFN to see the results.
Nevertheless, I am loving the red lips and definitely will be giving it a try again if I ever go on any special occassion and wearing a cute black dress (lol).
