FOTD: Utopia

Hello Lovelies,

Lately Instagram has me hauling, I swear social media is made you draw you in.... I recently did  a MakeupGeek order of their Utopia pigment which as been out of stock for a while. Upon receiving the pigment I was in awe at how gorgeous it was and when applied to the eye, OMG it is absolutely gorgeous. However I have learnt that you cannot apply it with water based products but rather a glitter adhesive is best and I used the Sally Girl glitter adhesive.

FOTD: Haute Chocolate Triple Fudge

I hope all is well.... No matter how I try to incorporate spring colors in my makeup looks lately, I still resort to my earth tone Fall colors... you know the dark greens, brown and spice colors. I have been loving the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette since I purchase it and I absolutely love it and the colors it holds. I would so get a back up just because I know I would gravitate towards it whenever I do a work love or even a neutral eye makeup look. Their is so many colors that will go well with a bright eye popping lip color and that is my go-to makeup look for the everyday.

We Are Onyx

Hello lovelies,


I am still rocking my short natural curly hair style....hey boo, hey boo!! Just to update you I have been using the following products from a brand namely: Beautiful Textures.
Now if you aren't aware on the YT beauty world, their is a new beauty box out known as We Are Onyx... They provide you with 4 full size beauty products every month. The subscription cost $25/mth and this beauty box is geared towards us woman of color/ beauty of color. Last month beauty box, that is when I actually joined this subscription; featured Beautiful Textures brand products which is also a new hair care brand geared towards kinky, natural and curly hair beauties. I absolutely love this brand and it does wonders to my hair, using it for the past  3 months since I found the curling pudding in my local Walmart, I have seen that it has grown my hair along with thickening it. I love the thickness and curl pattern from using Beautiful Textures products.

Used Grocery store Coconut oil, Rosemary Oil, Beautiful Textures Moisture Butter and a finger tip of the Beautiful Textures Curl Pudding.

Swatch: Coastal Scents Hot Pots

I hope all is well and I missed the love of blogging, due to my busy work schedule I apologize for not putting out the frequent blog posts. None-the-less I wanted to share swatches of my recent additions to my collection of some great and affordable dupes and color eyeshadows from Coastal Scents. Coastal Scents are a company which offers sale in makeup, makeup tool and beauty care. They always have a sale every week and when they do offer a hot pot (single eyeshadow) sale of $0.99 I always take advantage. Their Hot Pots are great dupes to the infamous Mac eyeshadows, they are great pigmentation and as with any eyeshadow require a great eye base/primer before application.
